Job Title: Finance & Compliance – FCRA

Type: Full-time

Reporting to: Head Accounts & Finance / Trustee

Timings: 9 am to 5 pm weekdays / Saturdays 9 am to 2 pm.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented finance professional to manage our FCRA financial records and ensure full compliance with FCRA laws. This person will help us track donations, keep organized records, and support audits.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Keep track of all FCRA donations and make sure they match with donor agreements or emails.
2. Set up a system to keep records of requisitions, quotations, and purchase orders for every invoice.
3. Create a method to link each invoice with the receipt of goods and their distribution to beneficiaries.
4. Review FCRA fund utilization certificates and make sure they match Tally accounts and donor instructions.
5. Make sure all financial and support documents are properly filed and easy to find.
6. Stay updated with the FCRA Act and its changes, and ensure our compliance.
7. Work closely with auditors for FCRA audits, FC-4 filing, and other requirements.
8. Ensure all required updates and filings are done on time with the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
9. Make sure Tally entries are accurate, properly explained, and linked to supporting documents.
10. Match past Tally records with submitted FCRA financial reports and correct any differences.
11. Review previous years’ FCRA records and make sure they are complete and audit-ready.
12. Set up a system to back up all FCRA records and reports regularly.
13. Help the organization stay fully compliant and always ready for any audit by MHA.
