Manager Development
Job Description:
Product Development & Strategy:
• Lead the development of new corrugated products, from initial concept through to market launch.
• Define and execute product strategies that align with the company’s goals, market demands, and technological advancements.
• Work closely with R&D and design teams to develop innovative packaging solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Assess the feasibility of new products based on technical capabilities, production capacity, and market potential.
Market Research & Trend Analysis:
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitor products.
• Analyze consumer behavior, feedback, and packaging trends to guide new product development.
• Monitor industry regulations and emerging technologies to ensure the new products remain competitive and compliant with standards.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
• Work closely with the sales, marketing, R&D, production, and quality assurance teams to gather input and ensure alignment on new product goals.
• Coordinate with the procurement and supply chain teams to ensure that materials for new products are available and sourced in time.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between departments to streamline the product development process.
Product Design & Prototyping:
• Lead the design and prototyping phases for new corrugated products.
• Ensure that product prototypes are tested for strength, durability, and suitability for various customer needs.
• Work with the production team to assess manufacturability and optimize design for efficient production.
Product Launch & Commercialization:
• Develop and implement product launch plans, including market testing, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
• Work with the sales and marketing teams to ensure successful product introduction and customer adoption.
• Coordinate production timelines and logistics to ensure products are ready for launch on schedule.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
• Ensure that new products meet the company's quality standards, industry regulations, and customer expectations.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to establish quality benchmarks for new products and monitor their adherence during production.
• Address and resolve any issues related to product performance or customer feedback after the launch.
Cost Management:
• Develop cost estimates for new products and monitor product development costs to stay within budget.
• Optimize production processes for cost efficiency while maintaining product quality and performance.
• Work with the operations team to assess cost implications of new product designs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
Product Lifecycle Management:
• Monitor and track the performance of new products in the market post-launch.
• Gather customer feedback and market data to make improvements or updates to products as necessary.
• Plan for product modifications or enhancements based on market demands and technological advancements.
Reporting & Documentation:
• Maintain comprehensive records of product development processes, including designs, prototypes, testing, and feedback.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management regarding progress on new product development, market acceptance, and performance metrics
