Job Description:
Role Purpose
The Business & Commercial Head will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding the client base, and managing key accounts. The role focuses on building strong B2B relationships, leading commercial negotiations, and ensuring sustainable profitability with targeted margin protection.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify and acquire new B2B clients within packaging, gifting, and allied industries.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Lead client pitches, presentations, and proposal development.
- Build long-term partnerships with corporate clients.
2. Commercial Strategy & Negotiation
- Lead commercial discussions, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure profitable deal closures aligned with company financial goals.
- Structure proposals ensuring margin protection of 35% and above.
- Monitor cost structures and pricing models to optimize profitability.
3. Key Account Management
- Manage and grow relationships with high-value accounts.
- Act as the primary escalation point for major clients.
- Ensure timely delivery, client satisfaction, and repeat business.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
4. Revenue & Performance Management
- Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Track sales pipeline, forecasting, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, design, production) to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain MIS reports and present business updates to leadership.
Experience Required
- 5–8 years of experience in B2B sales.
- Prior experience in Packaging, Gifting, Branding, or allied industries preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and managing key accounts.
