Role Overview
We are looking for a highly creative Motion Graphic & Video Editor to join our branding agency’s creative team. The ideal candidate will bring concepts to life through engaging motion visuals, branded videos, and storytelling edits that align with our clients’ marketing goals and brand identities.
This role demands a strong sense of design aesthetics, a flair for storytelling, and technical expertise in editing and animation tools. You will collaborate closely with designers, copywriters, and account managers to craft impactful visual communication for digital, social, and campaign platforms.
Key Responsibilities
1. Motion Graphics & Video Editing
• Conceptualize, design, and produce high-quality motion graphics for campaigns, product launches, and brand promotions.
• Edit videos that maintain brand tone, typography, and identity across platforms.
• Deliver visually appealing explainer videos, social media reels, and brand films.
2. Social Media & Digital Content Creation
• Create short-form video content (reels, teasers, ads) optimized for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
• Adapt videos to multiple aspect ratios (1:1, 9:16, 16:9).
• Maintain a 90%+ approval rate on first drafts for digital edits.
3. Campaign & Client Visualization
• Develop video mockups and animated previews for campaign presentations and client pitches.
• Collaborate with the creative team to visualize and enhance campaign ideas through motion.
• Incorporate feedback swiftly within defined timelines.
4. Collaboration & File Management
• Work closely with designers, copywriters, and client servicing teams for seamless execution.
• Maintain well-organized project files, proper versioning, and backups.
• Deliver all final outputs in required formats (MP4, MOV, GIF, etc.).
5. Creative Research & Innovation
• Stay updated with the latest motion design trends, editing styles, and visual storytelling formats.
• Experiment with emerging tools like DaVinci Resolve, Blender, and advanced After Effects techniques.
• Present at least one new creative technique or reference trend each month.
Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Animation, Design, Media Arts, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a creative agency, branding firm, or production house.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop (DaVinci Resolve/Blender is a plus).
• Strong sense of motion design, typography, and composition.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
